Natural Progesterone
Naturally occurring hormone secreted by the corpus luteum of the
ovary to promote pregnancy and also by the adrenal cortex in the
glucocorticoid pathway; bioidentical hormone synthesized from
plant origin used in hormone replacement therapy.
Nephropathy
Kidney disease caused by Diabetes.
Neural Networks
A group of neurons and neural connections (synapses, dendrites
and axons) which code for specific memories, perceptions or
behaviors.
Neurodegeneration
Relating to the atrophy or decline of tissue of the nervous
system.
Neuroendocrine
Of a hormonal substance that influences the action and
mechanisms of nerves.
Neuropathy
Nerve damage caused by Diabetes.
Neurons
A type of cell that makes up tissues of the nervous system and
that can send out and accept nervous impulses.
Norethindrone acetate (Norethindrone)
A drug which acts by inhibiting follicular growth and
development and ovulation by suppressing follicle-stimulating
hormone (FSH) and Luteinizing hormone (LH). Indicated for the
treatment of amenorrhea (secondary), endometriosis, and abnormal
uterine bleeding which is due to hormonal imbalance.
